I was reading one of my favorite domainer blogs today (Frank Schilling’s - 7 Mile) and thought I’d pass along a quote I am totally ‘feeling’ these days when talking to clients:

“In life, attitude is altitude. When most people don’t understand the usefulness of domain names and half the population doesn’t use the Internet, there is still a great deal of untapped opportunity for you to make your mark, but you’ve “gotta wanna”. Find a good name, create a rudimentary site and repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat.. Buy low sell high and repeat, repeat, repeat.. Find your sweet spot add value for an existing player and repeat, repeat, repeat. The world is your oyster.”

This guy is telling it like it is. There is a freaking WORLD of opportunity out there if you can just turn off the negative influences in your life (eg. news, time vampires, whiners, etc) and focus on your game you’ll be amazed with what starts happening.
